A very tough Adventure Race comprises of 4 sports which are “Run, Swim, Kayak and Bike”(Check out how fun the race was, with VDO on youtube). All racers teamed up in two will never know how bad the road condition is and how long it will take to the final destination.
The racers need to switch sports back and forth and will of course not be able to estimate their remaining energy. OPTIMA THULE team again did not miss to join this competition and it can be said as the most challenging race for the team this year. More importantly, OPTIMA collaborated with Navy Triathlon Team to form a joint team and participate in 2 categories which are Extreme Male and Adventure Male. The team went through this very tough race by running along the trail up to the mountain, kayaking in Kwai river, mountain bike racing in difficult route and facing the high temperature in Kanchanaburi. Finally the team did it and won 3 prizes as follows:
1st place in Adventure category – Mr. Jaruvat Phomubon and Mr. Orruchun Petcharat
3rd place in Adventure category – Mr. Witsawakorn Keawthong and Mr. Thanatorn Piyo
3rd place in Extreme category – Mr.Jaroen Jaroenkit and Mr.Thanapong Saksuprab
